WHAT Is a Ski and Board Swap?

The Canadian Ski Patrol participates in, and in many cases runs swap or sale events all across the country. These events can be big or small, and might be all used gear or a combination of new and used. Each event is a consignment sale of ski & snow boards, and other related items. The Canadian Ski Patrol benefits from the commissions it receives from each sale.

SKIS

New and used skis of all shapes and sizes. Inventory will vary by event, and from year to year, so check your local event.

SNOW BOARDS

New and used board of all shapes and sizes. Inventory will vary by event, and from year to year, so check your local event.

ACCESSORIES

You may find ski poles, ski & board helmets, ski & board binding, goggles, sunglasses and other related items. Not all events carry these types of items. Inventory will vary by event, and from year to year, so check your local event.

CLOTHING

Some events you will find ski & board jackets, pants, hats, gloves, mitts and more.  Inventory will vary by event, and from year to year, so check your local event.

Nordic Gear

Some events may have Nordic Gear. Inventory will vary by event, and from year to year, so check your local event.

SKI TOURING

You are only likely to find touring gear at BC and Alberta events.  The selection tends to be limited.

Can I bring my own gear to sell?

Yes, we want your old skis and boards to sell on your behalf. Check with your local event for specifics.

How do I sell my gear?

Check with your local event on when and where to drop off your gear for us to sell.  Each event will determine what commission will be applied to the sale of your gear.

What if I am a larger vendor?

There are vendors that will travel from swap to swap, and in some areas the price tags are compatible from swap to swap, so there no need to re-tag gear.  Check with your local event to find out how to sell large quantities of gear at an event.

You can contact swap@skipatrolvancouver.com and we can put you in contact with the right people if needed.
